Jesus: Never More Than 6 Feet Away

Being socially distant from others can be hard to say the least. We totally get it! There’s good news though. Even when we’re physically separated from our family, co-workers, and friends – Jesus is always near! Yes, you may have to practice social distancing with those around you, but you have a friend in Jesus and He is always by your side. Here are a few verses and promises to encourage you and remind you that you are never alone.

  • “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7
  • “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:20
  • “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” – John 14:27
  • “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
  • “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:37-39
  • “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” – Revelation 3:20
  • “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
  • “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:14-16
  • “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
  • “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7
  • “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
