Sam Garnett

Senior Pastor

Pastor Sam grew up in a Christian home and accepted the Lord at a young age. Even though he felt God was calling him into ministry, he fought it and it wasn’t until 1991 that he was ordained into the ministry after being called as pastor of the Vernon Baptist Church. After many life events, he became the pastor of Calvary Bible Church in the fall of 2002. Ever since, he has served faithfully at the church. Pastor Sam along with his wife, Sherrie, are the parents of five adult children, all married, and are the proud grandparents of twelve.
